Chandigarh, Dec 22 (PTI) Pitching for a separate High Court in the state, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said he would continue his efforts till the demand is materialised. "I would continue my efforts till the demand for a separate High Court in Haryana is materialised," Hooda told reporters here after the foundation stone laying ceremony of the office building of Haryana State Legal Services Authority in Panchkula. In a reply to another question, Hooda said that Punjab and Haryana High Court has been asked for trial of cases of crime against women through fast track courts. The chief minister further said that the state Government has increased the annual income limit for availing the facility of free legal aid from Rs one lakh to Rs 1.50 lakh and the state government would also set up 18 Alternative Dispute Resolution Centres to ensure justice to the poor and the needy. Supreme Court Judge and Executive Chairman of National Legal Services Authority Justice D K Jain laid the foundation stone of the building of Haryana State Legal Services Authority. The building would be constructed over an area of 2,400 square meters at a cost of Rs 7.50 crore and would be completed within a year.
