Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 10 (PTI) The capital-based Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram (BVK) has urged the government to include the teachings of saint-reformers Swami Vivekananda and SreNarayana Guru in the school and college curriculum to enable students to inculcate the values propagated by them. The state council of BVK adopted a resolution asking the government to include the biographies and teachings of the social leaders in the curriculum upto the university level, a press release here said. Another resolution at the council expressed concern over the increasing tendency of showing direspect towards Indian cultural images, citing instances of some ministers and public figures refusing to light the ceremonial lamps at functions. BVK Director P Parameswaran inaugurated the council meeting. PTI MVG RC
