Tuticorin (TN), Oct13 (PTI) Power generation in the fifth unit of the Tuticorin Thermal Power Station has been stopped after an air-heater developed a fault today, officials said. It would take one or two days to rectify the fault, officials said. The first and fourth units, which became faulty recently, were set right and had only been operated since yesterday. But they could not generate full amount of power from the units, officials said. Instead of generating 840 mw from the other four units, only 600 mw to 650 mw is generated, officials added.
